Martin Luther University is the first university in Saxony-Anhalt to be awarded a Cluster of Excellence under the Excellence Strategy of the German federal and state governments. The “Center for Chiral Electronics” (CCE) will receive around 49 million euros to study new concepts for highperformance, energy-saving electronics. It commenced operations in January 2026.
